Feedback from previous participants in this age group:

“I learned different coping techniques for different situations and feelings such as stress/anxiety.”

“I really benefited from learning how to deal with conflict, toxic friendships and understanding my own communication & learning skills”

“It’s a great way to bond with people who are going through the same thing/have something in common. It’s helpful in developing new skills and new techniques which are very useful.”

“A safe place to chat and still learn”

“It’s a good club to figure yourself out”

“it was just so relaxed and you could ask anything about mental health or emotional stuff without being judged”

FROM PARENTS:

“Encouraging kids to talk and express themselves “

“It opened up the opportunity for us to talk about some topics which can be uncomfortable like mental health. I asked my son over dinner and what was great was to hear him talking openly about issues in front of his younger sister, giving her the space to open up too.”

“my daughter talks to me now about trusting me that she can talk to me about things”

“An online, safe forum, mediated by a professionally trained coach and mentor, that gives teenagers the tools and resources they need to maintain a healthy mental health and develop an approach that will enable them to live a great life”

“A wonderful initiative that young people need”

“My sons did the junior and senior ones and they both loved it but moreso, they actually talked to each other about it and started to bond in opening up about their feelings to each other and their respective experiences of mental health in their friend groups. They’ve taught us so much about mental health that we didn’t know”
